Learn about in­clu­sion in the work­place

THE City of South Perth will host a Dis­abil­ity Em­ploy­ment Busi­ness Sun­downer to pro­vide em­ploy­ers, peo­ple with dis­abil­ity, par­ents and car­ers with the op­por­tu­nity to net­work, be in­spired and learn about em­ploy­ment and in­clu­sion in the work­place.

Fif­teen ex­hibitors and rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Dis­abil­ity Em­ploy­ment Ser­vice (DES) providers, sup­port ser­vice or­gan­i­sa­tions, the ed­u­ca­tion sec­tor, gov­ern­ment de­part­ments and lo­cal busi­nesses will at­tend the event at the South Perth Com­mu­nity Hall on June 14.

The aim is to bring key stakeholders to­gether to build re­la­tion­ships and as­sist those seek­ing work to gain em­ploy­ment op­por­tu­ni­ties.

Ra­dio pre­sen­ter Ver­ity James will MC the sun­downer, which will in­clude presentations from guest speak­ers Crown Re­sorts group dis­abil­ity man­ager Ian Tso­lakis and Dis­abil­ity Ser­vices Com­mis­sion Count Me in Am­bas­sador Sarah War­dle.
