FREMANTLE Detectives have arrested three people following an investigation into several burglary incidents across the South Metropolitan District and a stolen vehicle. It will be alleged the offenders stole a Subaru station wagon during a burglary at a home in Manning between June 9 and 10. The vehicle was involved in a series of burglaries, including one where a security guard was struck by the vehicle. About 9pm on June 10, officers saw the vehicle on North Lake Road in Cockburn Central. It is alleged the driver failed to stop and evaded police. The vehicle collided with another car at the intersection of Kwinana Freeway and Beeliar Drive and police apprehended the occupants of the Subaru. An 18-year-old man from Thornlie and a 19-year-old man from South Lake have been charged with several offences. A 13-year-old boy from Lynwood is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court on June 21, charged with three counts of aggravated burglary and three counts of stealing.
