Town seeks help to transform station

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - NEWS -

THE Town of Victoria Park is calling on members of the community to get involved in the transformation of Burswood Station East into a precinct.

Bounded by the Graham Farmer Freeway, Great Eastern Highway and Victoria Park Drive, Burswood Station East is strategically positioned close to many of Perth’s major tourism and entertainment destinations, with convenient access to Perth CBD and the broader region.

It is in the prime position to stitch together the peninsula, The Springs, the Belmont Park Redevelopment and Crown Perth.

There are several ways that people can be involved in shaping the vision for the area. A workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 19, from 6pm to 8pm at M Space in Burswood.

The Town is also asking people to complete a survey, suggest ideas and tell their stories.
