City to build new footpath, plant more trees
A NEW two-metre wide footpath will be constructed on the southern side of Roebuck Drive between Mt Henry Road and Hope Avenue in Salter Point. The work will start this month and is expected to be completed within six working days, with the work being held on weekdays between 7am and 4pm. When the footpath is completed the City of South Perth will plant 15 new jacaranda trees along the verge next to the new path. These will replace current missing trees and any poorly-formed young trees. The large ficus tree opposite 46 Roebuck Drive will have some formative pruning to remove dead wood.
