JOIN the Deafness Council WA at events throughout Hearing Awareness Week 2017.
The main event of the week is Q&A NDIS – New Frontiers for Deafness, on how the NDIS has an impact on people who are deaf or hearing-impaired.
Host Deafness Council WA president Barry MacKinnon will be joined by moderator Geof Parry from Channel 7 News and a panel of community representatives from across the sector.
The event will be held at The Boulevard Centre, Floreat, on Wednesday, August 23, at 10am.

A hearing bus is travelling around Perth throughout the week offering free hearing tests. Visit the bus at Amcal Armadale Haynes Pharmacy on Wednesday, August 23, and Karrinyup Shopping Centre on Thursday, August 24.
You can get a free hearing test with Telethon Speech & Hearing on Tuesday, August 22, at 36 Dodd Street, Wembley, 9am- 4pm or Thursday, August 24, at Cockburn Integrated Health & Community Facility, 11 Wentworth Parade, Success, 10am-2pm.
