Gun parts lead to firearms find
A HOARD of 26 firearms was allegedly found at a Belmont house after gun parts imported from Slovenia were discovered in the mail. The Belmont property was searched 11 days after the find and the working parts of a Browning M2 machine gun, four shotguns, a semiautomatic rifle, 11 handguns, 19 silencers, three rifles and knives were allegedly uncovered. Australian Border Force officers and local detectives said they also found knuckle dusters and ammunition. A 23-year-old man from Belmont will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on November 23.
