■ The amount of calo­ries in al­co­holic drinks con­sumed by Aus­tralians each month equates to enough fat to fill three Olympic size swimming pools. The av­er­age Aussie drinker en­joys 10.5 stan­dard drinks per week, which is 4143 calo­ries con­sumed per month. Aussie drinkers suf­fer hang­overs once a month, last­ing eight or more hours.
