REDCLIFFE

Southern Gazette (Victoria Park) - - Street Watch -

ARSON Squad detectives have made a call out for information about a Redcliffe building fire. The fire caused an estimated $150,000 damage. Police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a building on Great Eastern Highway at 3am on Friday, July 21. The building is a heritage-listed commercial property. Detectives would like to speak to the driver of a white utility seen driving along Great Eastern Highway near the building around 3am. Anyone with information regarding the fire – or who may have seen suspicious vehicles or people in the area between 2.30am and 3.30am – should call Crime Stoppers. Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
