Shop breached food code
A CLOVERDALE shop has been fined for breaching the WA Food Standards Code. Belmont Market on Belmont Avenue was found to sell items with inadequate nutrition information and supplier contact details on the label, sell food without importer or distributor information on the product label, and had not complied with the nutrition information panel on the label. The offences occurred on November 21 last year, February 10, 2017, and August 2, 2017. The store has been fined $3000 plus costs of $1340.35.
