THE GHOSTS of Bel­mont are set to take over Ruth Faulkner Pub­lic Li­brary for a spe­cial spooky event. Di­abol­i­cal! The Dark Past of Bel­mont: A Rock ‘N’ Roll Hal­loween Trip Through Bel­mont’s His­tory will see the li­brary open after hours on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 27, for a spe­cial mul­ti­me­dia show about Bel­mont’s eerie his­tory. Join ex­per­i­men­tal mu­sic arts col­lec­tive Gen­re­fonix, known for their sold out ap­pear­ances at the Fre­man­tle Prison and Rev­e­la­tion Film Fes­ti­val, as they per­form orig­i­nal hor­ror mu­sic and sound­scapes live along­side real pho­tos and news­pa­per head­lines. All are in­vited to dress up in their ghoul­ish best and wan­der through the Bel­mont Mu­seum by torch­light. The event is free but book­ings are es­sen­tial – head to Eventbrite to re­serve your spot. Di­abol­i­cal! runs from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, with the mul­ti­me­dia mu­si­cal per­for­mance to take place from 6pm to 6.45pm.
