Dear Editor, Through your paper I would like to express my appreciation to those folk who supported me in my unsuccessful attempt to represent them on council.

Rest assured that I will continue the fight with our team, to save our precious War Memorial Hall.

The Berrigan Shire Council has given us a three year probation on the demolition of our hall.

We need to tell our councillors an expenditure of $340,000 of ratepayers’ money to demolish our $2.198 million War Memorial Hall is not an option.

The only option acceptable is a complete renovation, including rendering the front of the hall to match the School of Arts Hall, completing our civic centre.
