Ready to Muster

Pack your swag and round up your mates for this weekend’s Deniliquin Ute Muster.

Featuring a host of rip roaring entertainment, including an enviable musical line-up headlined by country superstar Keith Urban, the famed event begins this Friday morning and continues Saturday.

‘‘The Ute Muster site is holding up incredibly well (after continuous rain), and we’re now fully prepared to welcome everyone this Friday and Saturday,’’ Muster general manager Kate Pitt said.

‘‘Community members, our board and staff and several organisations and businesses have been doing everything in their power to keep water off the site.’’

Ms Pitt said organisers do have a ‘‘worst case scenario’’’ contingency plan in place should some areas not being able to accommodate campers. It could include relocating some campers, but she said works at the site should prevent them from having to use those plans.
