Showgirl progression ends
Le Shai Morris represented the Finley Show Society at The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl competition at Hillston on Saturday.
Seventeen showgirls competed in the zone final, with Walbundrie’s Olivia McIntosh and Wagga’s Emma Gorman selected to compete at the Sydney Show in April.
Each contestant was interviewed by judges and attended a lunch.
Family and show society representatives then attended a dinner where the girls were interviewed.
Finley Show Society president Keith Kennedy said while she did not move on to the next level of the competition, Le Shai is to be congratulated on her efforts.
‘‘She was a great ambassador for Finley,’’ he said.
Also attending the dinner were Le Shai’s parents Daryll and Janette Morris and Carol and Victoria Kennedy from the Show Society.
