Workshop for our Wonderful Women
Finley Public School’s P&C would like to extend an invitation to all women in the local area to attend a Wild Wacky Wonderful Women workshop.
It will be held at the Finley RS Club on Friday, August 25 from 9.30am until 3.30pm.
If you book before August 18, your ticket will only by $50, or $60 at the door.
Women are encouraged to attend as this is not only a fundraiser for the school but for what this day can do for those attending.
Wild Wacky Wonderful Women is about empowering and creating positive change for women.
The vision is a world where women are empowered to live authentic lives, to become more visible, to have a louder voice and to contribute to solving problems and challenges of the world that really matter and to support and encourage each other while doing so.
The main theme of the workshop is to simplify life, to gain the courage to conquer the clutter that is holding some women back.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided and an indication of intention to attend would be appreciated by August 18 to assist with catering.
Please contact Sophie Ingram on 0427 811 409.

Many remarkable things happen in our Berrigan Shire Libraries and one event not to be missed is an evening with the author of the book The Coffee Palace, Adele Ogier Jones.
Tuesday, August 15 marks 121 years since the opening of the Berrigan Coffee Palace, an institute many may not have even been aware existed in the early days.
The program for the evening of August 15 will begin at 6pm and conclude at 8pm.
Soup and sandwiches will be served on arrival and those attending will have a chance to chat with Adele over coffee and cake following her talk.
Tickets are at a cost of $15 per person and are available at all local Berrigan Shire Libraries.
Refreshments will be provided by the Timor-Leste Experience 2018 students who are raising funds to take much needed medical supplies to this community.
So all residents in the local Shire are encouraged to attend what promises to be a very interesting evening and much needed support for our young students.
For those unable to attend who would like to know more about the Berrigan Coffee Palace, there is a raffle being conducted for a copy of the book and tickets of $2 each are also available at the libraries.
