Jer­ilderie Pub­lic School takes pride in de­liv­er­ing qual­ity ed­u­ca­tion in a car­ing and in­clu­sive en­vi­ron­ment.

We place par­tic­u­lar em­pha­sis on lit­er­acy and nu­mer­acy, and pro­vide in­ten­sive and dy­namic pro­grams to as­sist all stu­dents to achieve their goals.

Stu­dents from Kin­der­garten to Year 6 en­joy a broad range of cre­ative and per­form­ing arts, sport­ing and ex­tra cur­ric­u­lar ac­tiv­i­ties.

The stu­dents are sup­ported by pos­i­tive stu­dent wel­fare pro­grams such as BluEarth and a com­mit­ted and car­ing staff.

Jer­ilderie Pub­lic School boasts mod­ern class­rooms, a well-re­sourced li­brary and art room.

State-of-the-art tech­nol­ogy is utilised, in­clud­ing in­ter­ac­tive white­boards and com­put­ers in ev­ery class­room, a bank of 18 iPads and both fixed and mo­bile video con­fer­enc­ing units for vir­tual ex­cur­sions as well as up to date ro­bot­ics in­clud­ing WeDo, EV3 and Dash and Dot ro­bots.

JPS stu­dents and staff en­joy first class ameni­ties.

Our school is set in at­trac­tive and spa­cious grounds, features of which are mod­ern play equip­ment, large grassed ar­eas with land­scaped gar­dens.

We pro­mote and fos­ter a strong part­ner­ship be­tween home and school to en­sure the best pos­si­ble out­comes for your child.

Par­ent and com­mu­nity in­put is greatly val­ued, whether it is as a class­room helper, sports coach or through the Par­ents and Cit­i­zens As­so­ci­a­tion.

JPS stu­dents are sup­ported by a ded­i­cated Par­ents and Cit­i­zens As­so­ci­a­tion which each year sub­sidises Kin­der­garten uni­forms to the value of $150 per child and fund 50 per cent of all K-6 ex­cur­sion costs.
