Tocumwal Preschool is continuing to grow in 2017.

Donna Boaden was appointed director in 2016 and will continue her support of educators and president Sarah Quick in the development of our nurturing learning environment.

Our service prides itself in offering quality care and education for all children in Tocumwal and surrounding areas.

Donna and Maddison Pyle offer a three year-old’s program within the centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Educators provide a nurturing learning environment that supports children to begin independence and develop friendships within our community.

Kirsty Heaton and Rebecca Bennett are our four year-old educators and share a passion for early years education.

We believe children are unique individuals and are committed to community involvement.

Our KITE (Kids Interacting with the Eld- erly) program is a regular program led by Rebecca. Educators visit the Lions Hostel weekly to participate in activities with their elderly friends.

This contact within our wider community is both rewarding and fulfilling to all involved.

This term has seen many projects including exploring and building our town, as a group we made a mural to give awareness of reconciliation week, we attended a Gigalees circus at Sacred Heart Primary School and we are currently planning a combined community project.

At preschool, children are involved in the munch and move program and are very involved in sustainable practices.

Our programs provide indoor/outdoor emergent curriculum and play based learning.

All interested families are welcome to call into the centre in Jerilderie St between 9am and 3pm Monday to Thursday.
