Cricket Club needs community support
The Berrigan Cricket Club will be holding a special annual general meeting tonight at 7.30pm, at the Federal Hotel.
Everyone is welcome and support is needed if people want the club to continue.
All positions are open and the club is financial.
The club has strong junior numbers and it would be great to see as many parents from all grades at the meeting.
The RSL Sub-branch held a sausage sizzle and wood raffle last Thursday. The raffle was won by Woody Motors. The committee would like to thank the community for its continued support.
As part of the Berrigan Community Golf and Bowling Club de-amalgamation pro- cess, community members are encouraged to sign up as a social member for $10.
As part of the new entity, Berrigan Community Golf and Bowling Club, a minimum of 100 new members is needed for a meeting to be held in August to vote to deamalgamate with Barooga Sporties.

St. Columba’s Primary School will be running its popular ‘Play to Learn’ program for all students starting Kindergarten in 2018.
All children in the Berrigan and surrounding areas are welcome to attend.
The program will be held every Wednesday from today from 10.30am to 2pm.

The Bowling Club will be having a social day with Rand Bowls Club on August 20.
A bus is organised and the first 30 people to put their names on the list will get a seat.

A great night was held at the football rooms last Saturday with the Goods and Services Auction.
The club wish to thank the community for their support on this night.
The next social function coming up will be the Sunday after the last game for the year against Strathmerton, which will be the 100 Club.
Tickets will be available this week.
For the opportunity to participate in an hour of healthy activity, be it in the gym or the gentle exercise of hydrotherapy, the Berrigan Community Health runs a bus each Tuesday to the Barooga Aquatic Centre heated pool, leaving from the Madill Centre at 8.45.am.
