Debutante Ball at Jerilderie hall
Seven young women and their partners braved a cold night on Saturday to be presented to society.
The St Joseph’s Catholic School Debutante Ball was held at Jerilderie’s Civic Hall, and was attended by family members and friends of the debs.
The debutante set was made up of Isabel Bradford partnered by Zac Barlow, Jessie Read and Bodhi Beasley, Casey DiLullo and Nick Baldwin, Issie Catena and Mitchell A’Vard, Skye Nash and Jordy Anthony, Sara Smith and Ben Barlow, and Lauren Knight and Tom Whelan. Chloe Rorato was flower girl and Dan Eldridge the page boy.
The debs were presented to Steven Dalgleish and Tiffany Sutton.
More than 300 people enjoyed the night which was organised and catered for by the St Joseph’s School Council and many helpers.
Deb coordinator Katrina Muto said the couples were training with dance instructor Vicki Ackers for about five weeks in preparation for the night.
‘‘They learned a number of dances to perform on the night. They had also been practicing their presenting, with the students themselves choosing Tiffany Sutton and Stephen Dalgleish to be involved.’’
