Wellness Blueprint launched in Berrigan
Berrigan wellness specialist Angela Peris launched her new book, ‘Your Human Blueprint To An Extraordinary Life’, on Sunday afternoon at Berrigan Golf Club.
More than 50 people attended the two hour book launch, which included a traditional lighting of a lamp to ‘‘indicate a new beginning’’.
‘‘I wrote the book because everywhere I look, I see depression, anger and sadness and often people turn to drugs and alcohol,’’ Ms Peris said.
‘‘The message I gave people was if this book can help one person from committing suicide, that would be a great service.
‘‘They can use a book like this to find the power of the human and its strengths.’’
Berrigan Shire Councillor John Bruce launched the book, and publisher Garry Baker also said a few words at the event.
Ms Peris’s book is about empowering yourself; how to emotionally strengthen and power your life with emotional wellbeing.
Ms Peris is a registered nurse and initially set up a cardiac wellbeing centre in Sydney in 2008. She moved to Berrigan in 2012 where she offers a health and lifestyle retreat.
‘‘I am so humbled to launch this book here in Berrigan, to reach out to the world to empower people to live an amazingly powerful human life,’’ she said.
‘‘I would like to thank the people of Berrigan for supporting my new book, including the Southern Riverina News.’’
The book is available online at www.yourhumanblueprint.com for $29.95, or available at the Peris Cardiac Health and Lifestyle Retreat or Deniliquin Newsagency.
