A 40 year-old Fin­ley man has been or­dered to ap­pear in court on charges of driv­ing with a dis­qual­i­fied li­cence and ex­ces­sive swear­ing.

Po­lice said they knew the man’s li­cence had pre­vi­ously been dis­qual­i­fied when he was al­legedly spot­ted driv­ing in Fin­ley about 10pm Fri­day.

After be­ing stopped, the driver pro­vided po­lice with doc­u­ments con­firm­ing his dis­qual­i­fi­ca­tion.

Po­lice al­lege he be­came abu­sive to­ward them, in­clud­ing re­peat­edly swear­ing.

A 37 year-old Tocumwal man has been charged with al­leged drink driv­ing after be­ing stopped in Tocumwal about 5.10pm Satur­day.

Po­lice al­lege he re­turned a pos­i­tive road­side test, and later recorded a blood al­co­hol read­ing on 0.069 at Tocumwal Po­lice Sta­tion.

He was charged with low range pre­scribed con­tent of al­co­hol, pend­ing an ap­pear­ance in Fin­ley Lo­cal Court.
