Three Demons inducted in inaugural Hall Of Fame
Jerilderie Football Club honoured three club legends for their extended services when they were inducted into the club’s hall of fame, at the recent presentation evening.
Tony Herrick, John Bryce and Neil McKinnon were the recipients of the inaugural honour.
Club President Sam Catena said it is important to recognise those who have served the club.
‘‘This is one of the most important things the club has ever done,’’ he said.
‘‘There are a lot of people who do a lot of work that goes unrecognised and this is a new way to ensure they get the recognition they deserve.’’
Jerilderie Football Club will induct a minimum of three club legends every year.
More details on this year’s inductees will be in next week’s edition of the Southern Riverina News.
