Tocumwal Tues­day saw 36 ladies play­ing Stroke/Monthly Medal/BG, that saw Di­vi­sion One gross and nett go­ing to Ma­ree Kelly with 91 and 74 re­spec­tively. Run­ner-up was Ch­eryl Hart 76.

Di­vi­sion Two gross was Gayle Blakey with 98. Di­vi­sion Two nett went to Gayle Ed­wards with 70 which gave her the Monthly Medal, with Bev­erly Camp­bell run­ner-up on 72.

NTPs went to Jil­lian Collins 2nd, Tr­ish Frost 8th, Pro Pin $29 went to Bev Richard.

On Wed­nes­day, seven mem­bers played the Gold Course with Lau­rence Rickard tak­ing the hon­ours with 38 points.

On the Blue Course 95 men played with Di­vi­sion One go­ing to Derek McMa­hon with 40 points fol­lowed by Tony Kelly on 39.

Terry Stokes was the Di­vi­sion Two win­ner with 39 points, run­ner-up went to John Wash­brook 37.

Di­vi­sion Three was won by Alan Mick­owl­sky 41 points fol­lowed by Alan Leg­gate 39.

NTPs went to Aaron Dale 14th, Jim Wil­liams 18th, Ea­gles Nest went to Aaron Dale 13th.

Satur­day was four-per­son sta­ble­ford with the three best scores counted.

Alan Mick­owsky/A Bev­eridge/L Gil­bee/P Gil­bee who had 121 were the win­ners, while sec­ond place was J. Simm/K. Con­rad/K. Con­rad/ J. Sacco 119 on count­back from T. Stokes/B. McCal­lum/ P. Olsen/I. McFarlane.

NTPs went to Su­san Davies and David Donchi 2nd, Va­lerie Stark and Bruce McCal­lum 18th.

Sun­day was stroke for six ladies with Ch­eryl Hart the win­ner with 74.

Three men played stroke on the Gold Course with Lind­sey Gil­bee the win­ner with 74.

Monthly Medal stroke saw 61 mem­bers tak­ing part with Di­vi­sion One gross and nett won by Ross Side­bot­tom, with 77 gross and 68 nett to claim the medal.

Di­vi­sion One run­ner-up went to Colin McNa­mara 70 while Di­vi­sion Two gross was James Wil­son 90 and nett win­ner was Norm Bros­nan 73.

Kevin Morey was the Di­vi­sion Three gross win­ner with 93 and nett win­ner with 69.

NTP went to Bruce Smith 17th.

Fin­ley Ladies Ladies took to the course for their Monthly Medal spon­sored by the Bray­bon Fam­ily.

Nett and Monthly Medal win­ner was Glen­nice Martin 96-31-65, with run­ner-up Glenys Creek on 104-36-68.

Putting went to He­len Was­tle 28 putts who also claimed scratch ball with 89.

Ball win­ners: Glenda McCul­lough 70 nett, Ker­rie Car­lon 70 nett, Kath Klemke 71 net.

Re­minder the McDon­alds Teams Day is on Fri­day Oc­to­ber 20, 9am for 9.30am start.

Ber­ri­gan Satur­day win­ner: Peter Shand 39-7-32, r/u Wayne Crew 49-15-34. Ball win­ners: Joe Ni­cholls, Barry Browne.

Sun­day win­ner: John Str­elec 34 c/b, r/u Joe Ni­cholls 34.

Stroke is on Sun­day with a 12.30pm hit-off

Fin­ley Rodger Sut­ton with 41 sta­ble­ford points stepped into the win­ner’s cir­cle at the J & H Bray­bon Men’s com­pe­ti­tion on Wed­nes­day.

NTP on the 18th was Rand Wil­son and balls went to Barry Wil­son (38), Barry Fa­hey (37) and John Lacy (37). The Matt Daniel Plumb- ing NAGA jack­pot­ted.

At the first of the Oc­to­ber Play 9 Sta­ble­ford event on Thurs­day af­ter­noon it was Ge­off Boscombe with 28 nett who col­lected the voucher.

Balls went to Martin Cruick­shank and Rodger Sut­ton each with 33 nett.

There was an ex­cep­tional turnout on Satur­day, how­ever it was not to play golf it was to carry out the an­nual green cor­ing, which was com­pleted to per­fec­tion along with other works on the course.

Fi­nal touches were com­pleted on Sun­day which meant no golf was played over the week­end.

At the week­end on Satur­day stroke will be played and sta­ble­ford on Sun­day.

SR Vets The Oc­to­ber South­ern Rive­rina Vet­er­ans Golf As­so­ci­a­tion Com­pe­ti­tion round was played at Jer­ilderie on Mon­day with 75 golfers tak­ing part.

Sta­ble­ford was played and Wayne Knowles (Yar­ra­wonga/Mul­wala) with 36 points took the A Grade tro­phy while Laurie Black­more (Jer­ilderie) on 35 points af­ter count­back was run­ner-up.

Tom Wil­ton ( Tocumwal) with 40 points took B Grade, with Brian Know­ell ( Co­bram/Ba­rooga) with 39 points run­ner-up.

Bruce Man­ning (Co­bram/ Ba­rooga) with 41 points took C Grade along with the day’s High Score Tro­phy while Garry En­nals (Co­bram/Ba­rooga) on 38 points was run­ner-up.

A Grade NTP went to Paul Wis­nieski (Co­bram/Ba­rooga), B Grade Ross Lacy (Co­bram/Ba­rooga), C Grade Garry En­nals (Co­bram/Ba­rooga) and All Grades went to Peter Shand (Ber­ri­gan).

Balls were awarded to play­ers with 30 points and bet­ter.

The Novem­ber SR Vets Com­pe­ti­tion is sched­uled to be played at Ber­ri­gan on Mon­day, Novem­ber 13. tro­phy
