Helpful advice for Berrigan businesses
Berrigan business operators have an opportunity to attend an important Berrigan and District Development Association meeting next week.
Rowena Jackson (pictured) from Riverina Murray Business Enterprise Centre will be attending to help local businesses.
RMBEC is a not-for-profit community based organisation designed to assist small businesses. Its services can range from business performance and direction, cash flow and budgeting, business planning and risk management.
‘‘We’re trying to get back on track to help promote businesses in Berrigan,’’ BDDA cosecretary Cristina von Brockhusen said.
‘‘When I first opened my business (Book in Chanter) the RMBEC helped me put together a business plan.
‘‘I’ve attended workshops and courses put on by RMBEC and have found them very useful.
‘‘RMBEC is honest; it’s like another set of eyes on the business.’’
Ms Jackson, who holds a Master of Business Administration, says she’s looking forward to meeting Berrigan business owners.
‘‘Cristina wants the BDDA or any Berrigan business to know that my help is available.
‘‘RMBEC can assist with a business start-up.
‘‘We can help find a solution for the business, and that can include cash flows or legal requirements and regulations.’’
The Berrigan and District Development Association meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 25 at the Berrigan Community Golf and Bowling Club.
