Students pause for Remembrance Day
Berrigan Public and St Columba’s School students joined together to commemorate Remembrance Day on Monday.
Students in Year 5 and 6 have been studying local identities who served at war. Among those names were Douglas Cameron, Willis Way, Clarrie Thornton, Maxwell Pyle, VJ Rockliff, Herbert Brown, Albert Madill, Ray Burwood, Thomas Dalgliesh, Ted Powell and Henry Martin.
The Remembrance Day service was organised by the CWA committee with the assistance of the RSL Sub-Branch.
