Southern Riverina news - - NEWS -

Barooga Public School has a fine tradition of achievement in academic, sporting and cultural activities.

The school is highly committed to its community involvement, the environment and the welfare of students through a ‘You Can Do It’ attitude.

Families with children due to start Kindergarten next year are invited to learn more about how the school can help their child grow and learn at a parent information evening.

It’s also a chance to take a look at the environment that will support your child in their transition to ‘big school’.

Principal John Francis said the informa- tion session will start from 7pm on Monday, August 27 in the Kindergarten room.

‘‘The evening will give parents a good understanding and knowledge of the school and our expectations, and is also a chance to explore their expectations of us at the school,’’ Mr Francis said.

‘‘They can learn more about our unique programs like the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden and our school philosophy.’’

Following on from the information evening, the school will offer a five-visit transition program for perspective students from mid-October.
