Race day this Saturday
The Berrigan Races are on this Saturday and as always the August meeting is a great day for the family.
The first race will be at 1.30pm and entry is free.
Memberships have been sent out, or you can also pay your membership on the day.
The Race Club look forward to seeing you all there.
The countdown is on for the Berrigan Community Clearing Sale.
Please have your items for sale registered by August 31 by seeing either Cristina at The Bookinchanters, Christine at Aussie Country Real Estate or by downloading the registration form from www.betterinberrigan.com via Facebook. All the details are available online. The sale will be held on Saturday, September 15 at the Berrigan Showgrounds.
This fundraising event is brought to you by the Berrigan and District Development Association, Berrigan Community Garden and Tidy Towns and the Berrigan Lions Club who will be having a barbecue on the day.
Funds raised will be going to the Berrigan War Memorial Hospital. We look forward to seeing you there. or
This year marks 300 years since Nano Nagle founded the Presentation Sisters.
A special Celebration Mass will be held at St Columba’s Church at 11am on Wednesday, August 29, followed by a barbecue lunch (please bring a salad to share) at St Columba’s Primary School.

There will be a Try Bowls Day held in Rand on Sunday, September 2.
A bus is being organised to take players and is filling up fast.
Cost is $20 which includes bus, bowls and lunch.

The Berrigan Amateur Dramatic Society will be performing the show at Berrigan Hall and you don’t want to miss it.
Tickets are on sale at Peppertree — you’ll get dinner, dessert and a show all for $45 or a matinee ticket for $25.
The first show is on Saturday, August 25, followed by a matinee on Sunday, August 26.
The last two shows are Friday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1.

The Community Club is holding a poker night every Wednesday starting at 7pm.

Finals fever is at Berrigan with the firsts, seconds, B grade, C grade and Under 17s all making it to the Picola League finals. There will be a meal served after training on Thursday night and everyone is welcome. We wish all sides great success.
