Berrigan U17 player profiles:
Dana Karakai: Extremely disciplined and versatile player. Can play both defence and in goals and is equally confident in both. Dana brings a wealth of experience to the side.
Kayla Smith: Side’s most agile, fastest and dominating player. Gives us plenty of run in the centre but in recent weeks has transitioned into one of the toughest goal keepers in the competition.
Annie Cameron: Annie has played all her juniors at the Berrigan Netball Club. After a year of playing senior netball she has returned to the 17s as a solid goal shooter who uses her smarts to produce quality netball.
Shae Fennell: Rock solid in goals and takes control of the game in the attacking end. A commanding player who gives the side a lot of options in the mid court as well as the goal ring.
Kaila Luscombe: Kaila has also played all her juniors with the Berrigan Netball Club. Another versatile player that will play centre, wing attack and also in goals. Has a signature pass into the goalies that she can execute with perfection.
Milly Alexander: Team’s tallest player who started off in defence and has now moved into mid court and gives plenty of options and back-up down the court. Milly’s game is peaking at the right time for finals.
Eliza Lucas: Eliza is the steady, composed silent achiever in the mid court. She has played WA, C and WD throughout the year and easily transitions from one to the other.
Regan Fox: Has come up from the U15s where she has had a fantastic season. Regan can play in defence and the mid court and she commits 100% to the game. Plays with a maturity well beyond her years.
Annabelle Middleton: Has also come up from the U15s. Annabelle is able to pick off those one percenters that make a difference and can play any position on the court and comes into this side with the ability to take any spot if required to.
Naomi Hooper: Naomi was also a part of the U15s this season. She is a quick, versatile mid courter who will pull in intercepts and applies plenty of pressure on her opposition.
