Stolen vehicles found on fire
Three vehicles and a quad bike have been discovered burned in the Murray Valley Regional Park at Barooga.
Police said two of the vehicles were allegedly stolen from Numurkah. Both were discovered at Quick Beach on Monday, but police said there is no evidence yet to suggest each is linked.
One was a Mitsubishi Triton reported stolen from Numurkah on January 30 this year, which was found alight at 7.30am Monday.
The second, a Mitsubishi Pajero, was found alight in the same area later Monday night.
Just a few days earlier on Thursday, September 27, a stolen Honda quad bike and Toyota Camry were both found ablaze.
While fire services attended, neither could be saved.
Police believe the Toyota was involved in an incident in Cobram, which is being investigated by Victoria Police.
