Students learn skills at Aboriginal art workshop
On Tuesday the students at St. Columba's had a visit from David Dunn, an Aboriginal Artist who held a painting workshop.
Organised by Petaurus Education Group, the students learnt some new painting skills from David and completed some really wonderful art pieces.
The Berrigan RSL Sub Branch will be holding a flag raising ceremony at the RSL building at 11am this Sunday to commemorate Remembrance Day.
All are welcome and encouraged to come along.
This Sunday Laurie Thompson is opening his garden to the public from 10.30am to 2pm at 29 Corcoran Street.
Cost is $5 with the money raised going to the Community Garden.
Please no pets or small children due to delicate nature of the garden. Morning tea will be available.
Please save the date for the Christmas Market Night/Carols on Friday December 7.
This year the carols will also be held on the same night as the market night.
There will be stalls, the Red Cross Extravaganza and plenty of entertainment for the children.

Recently Dawmac held a barbecue to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.
Dawmac were hoping to raise $500, but with the support from the community, raised $600.
The Dawmac team wish to thank the community for their support on a special fundraiser.
The film ‘‘A Month of Sundays’’ will be filmed next Tuesday at 1.30pm.
The film is about a real estate agent, Frank, whose business is failing and his relationship with his family is at an all-time low.
By chance, Frank meets Sarah, a nice woman who reminds him of his mother. Their friendship starts healing him emotionally.

Tomorrow night the grand final of the Bernard Curtin B grade trophy will be played between Mary Curtin and Gary Seamer.
Both players have been playing exceptionally and a great game will be witnessed. All welcome to come along.
Congratulations to the Berrigan Race Club committee on a very successful race meeting.
The weather was kind and the crowd came from wide and far.
The grounds are a credit to the committee and we all look forward to the next meeting in March.

The community again gave us great support for our street stall.
