Renovation specialists bring old bathrooms back to life

Southern Telegraph - - News -

Tired old bathrooms can be brought back to life with inspiration offered at the renovation specialists The Project People.

For the past 10 years owner and qualified tiler and cabinet-maker Grant West said his team had guided customers through bathroom updates, including new layouts, shower screens and tile design.

Mr West said although the Project People specialised in renovating, their showroom was also available for DIY customers.

“On trend now are open-style shower recesses and large-format tiles with less grout lines,” he said.

“Floorboard lookalike tiles have also become popular with people running the tile up one wall, helping to elongate the room, while the look of timber brings warmth to the room.”

He said customers were welcome to purchase products at the showroom to complete their own DIY renovations or, alternatively, The Project People could offer a renovation and improvement service.

“We stock a large range of tools and have recently expanded our range of building materials for local tradies,” he said.

“The display room, which has been open for a year, plays a crucial part in the service because it allows people to visualise potential layouts and colour schemes.”

The Project People also stock a wide range of accessories, including Canningvale towels in a variety of colours, scented candles, oil burners, decorative statues and beauty products.
