Man as­saulted in home, car stolen

A man was threat­ened with an axe, ham­mer and knife in a ter­ri­fy­ing home invasion in Man­durah on Sun­day.

Three men forced their way into the vic­tim’s home in Sut­ton Street at 5.30pm and be­gan trash- ing his prop­erty. They de­manded his house keys and threat­ened him with an axe, ham­mer and knife they found in the house.

The vic­tim was then as­saulted by the three at­tack­ers be­fore they drove away in his $60,000 sil­ver Holden Com­modore.

The fright­ened home­owner was taken to Peel Health Cam­pus to be treated for his bro­ken jaw but has since been dis­charged.
