Broth­ers 4 Life street gang ar­rests

WA Po­lice have charged seven mem­bers of the Broth­ers 4 Life street gang in the last fort­night, with sev­eral of the ar­rests be­lieved to have been made in the greater Rock­ing­ham re­gion.

The Gang Crime Squad has seized weapons and drugs af­ter nine search war­rants at prop­er­ties linked to sus­pected gang mem­bers were ex­e­cuted.

Seven re­ported gang mem­bers have been charged with more than 27 of­fences in re­la­tion to il­licit drugs, as­saults, weapons and firearms, po­lice claim.

They say 15 firearms were seized in ad­di­tion to quan­ti­ties of methy­lam­phetamine, cannabis, co­caine and steroids.

De­tec­tive Se­nior Sergeant Ja­son Blaine con­firmed a Waikiki home was one of those raided and told the Tele­graph other search war­rants were ex­e­cuted across the south­ern sub­urbs.

“The most re­cent search war­rant was ex­e­cuted on a Waikiki home (last) Wed­nes­day and re­sulted in the seizure of am­mu­ni­tion, methy­lam­phetamine and drug uten­sils,” he said.

“Our of­fi­cers con­tinue to work with other State Gov­ern­ment depart­ments and law en­force­ment agen­cies to achieve th­ese re­sults for the com­mu­nity.”
