Another on carjack count
A second man has been charged over an alleged carjacking near the City of Mandurah offices.
Police claim the 51-year-old woman, a councillor, was approached by two men about 6.30pm on August 28. They allege she was threatened with a weapon and forced to drive about 3km to the Henson Street beach carpark at Silver Sands before being dumped from the car.
A 31-year-old Waroona man was yesterday charged with aggravated robbery, deprivation of liberty and stealing a motor vehicle. A 38-year-old man had already been charged.
