Team effort for Baldivis
In round 4 of the Peel Junior Cricket Association season, the under-13s White Knights Baldivis (8-109) narrowly defeated Halls Head Junior (91), thanks to a strong all-round performance from the White Knights.
Wil Burdon (16no) tried his best for Halls Head and also took 2-1.
In the under-14s, Halls Head (140) scraped home over Secret Harbour Dockers purple (135), thanks to an inspired bowling performance from Christo Pretorius (3-11) while Adam Poynton led the way with the bat for the Headers, scoring an unbeaten 32.
On Sunday morning, unbeaten Hillman Junior (4-209) easily accounted for White Knights Baldivis (7-145).
In the under 17s, Shoalwater Bay (163) defeated Secret Harbour Dockers (108) in a close game at Stan Twight Reserve.
Shoalwater batted first with Riley Ward (27) leading the way, followed by Bevan Kearney (26no) and Nicholas Edwards (21no).
Abhishek Saini was the best of the bowlers for Dockers, claiming 3-24.
In reply, Secret Harbour fell just short of the total despite the best efforts of Kody Smith (34no).
