Drink and dance the night away

Stanthorpe Border Post - - LIFE WHAT'S ON -

KEFI is a unique and lively function with a Greek theme, presented by Kominos Wines.

On Saturday, September 30, from 6.30pm, Tony and Mary Comino will host their annual Kefi on the Granite Belt and again expect to draw large wine-loving crowds during the weekend.

Tony said visitors would be able to revel in the range of Greek food matching with Kominos Wines.

“The night features wines we grow and make here on our vineyards, with a delicious array of Greek cuisine,” he said.

“Traditionally, we produce wines from European super premium varieties like sauvignon blanc, shiraz, merlot and cabernet sauvignon but also have delicious alternate varieties like muscat frontignan.”

Delicacies include lemon-infused lamb and merlot and rosemary marinated beef, dolmades, moussaka and baklava.

“Join us and dance to the live Greek bouzouki and Latin music,” Mary said.

Tony described the traditional Greek dance music as a “social dance”.

“It’s a very vibrant atmosphere.

“People enjoy it – it’s a great night,” he said.

Visitors are urged to secure their tickets as soon as possible.

Tickets must be pre-booked.
