Stanthorpe Border Post - - SPORT -

TOUCH: IT IS not too late to sign up for this year’s Oztag season.

John Cobon, from Stanthorpe Oztag, said people still had the chance to be part of the fun this summer.

Cobon said people wising to register should visit stanthorpeoz and sign up before the second week of school holidays.

Oztag will be played every Thursday on Sullivan Oval.

Cobon said Stanthorpe Oztag was looking at dividing the seniors into two separate competitions for those over and under 25 years old.

President Peter Burnell hopes more adults would give it a go this year.

“We really want to encourage more adults to come,” he said.

Last year, Stanthorpe Oztag had more than 200 junior players play the limited contact sport.

Cobon said registration fees of $85 for juniors and $100 for seniors would apply.

The season will start on October 5.
