Markets stay in High St

Stanthorpe Border Post - - LIFE | WHAT’S ON -

AFTER the fire in the civic centre and after nearly 12 months on the hill, 85% of our stallholders urged us to make the showgrounds our home base – and so it is.

We have made our permanent home at the showgrounds.

It is the same market, same stallholders, as well as new ones, and same wonderful craft as we had at the civic centre.

We even have our own Cafe de Market, where you can top up the innerman/woman for further adventures into the crafty world.

It is almost beyond belief that we have only three Markets in the Mountains before the end of the year.

Sunday will be our next market day before we ramp up for the Christmas rush.

Be an early bird and rock on up to the Stanthorpe Showgrounds between 8am and noon and satisfy that pesky Christmas gift list in your bag.

Our clever stallholders will be very happy to offer you their assistance in discovering that special something for a special person.

At this market, the fundraisers will be those marvellous volunteers who organise the handicrafts section of our agricultural show each year.

They will be looking for extra funds to provide prizes for winners in their section.

Being handicrafters, you can imagine their raffle will be worth a ticket or two.

Our clever stallholders will be very happy to offer you their assistance.
