Thursday, November 27, 1997: FORMER Queensland Minister for Tourism, Small Business and Industry, Bruce Davidson, declared 1997 a “watershed year” for the Queensland wine industry. Vineyards were on the up, wine tourism was booming and Queensland wines were winning big, including Severn Brae Estate in Severnlea.

Tuesday, November 27, 2007: NATIONALS member Bruce Scott was re-elected to the federal seat of Maranoa despite a favourable swing to the Labor Party. ALP candidate Mike Bathersby helped Labor pick up a swing of 8.2 per cent on a two party preferred basis. Kevin Rudd romped home to be elected Prime Minister.

Tuesday, November 27, 2012: TROUBLEMAKERS were put on notice following the installation of 13 new security cameras across the Stanthorpe CBD. After advocating for the cameras for several years, Stanthorpe Safety Advisory Committee chair David Entermann was thrilled by the announcement.
