Little green thumbs
PREP and Year 1 have been quite excited about their garden and have already picked some beetroot and carrots.
The cauliflower is also ready to be picked and the cherry tomatoes are growing well.
A big thank you must go to Mr Krauss who helped the pupils weed the garden.
WHAT a fantastic day Prep / Year 1 had when they visited the C&K Kindergarten with their teddy bears.
They enjoyed the bear story read by Mrs Moore and all the craft activities indoors and the bubble blowing and painting outside.
Many of the students enjoyed playing in the sandpit with water pipes and shovels.
They also enjoyed a fantastic Under 8s Morning at Wrigglers and Gigglers Childcare Centre.
Everyone enjoyed a variety of rotation activities that were great fun.
THE Student Representative Council ran a final social event in week seven.
Students put on their togs, and got some goggles and their super-soakers for an end-of-year, water fun night.
Music and games completed a great night for all students.
PREP held a successful open day on Wednesday, November 15.
Many of the students who will be in the 2018 Prep class came along to meet their teacher, see their classroom, get uniforms and spend time meeting their new classmates.
WINNER: HPE gun Jamie Scott recently received an award for being an ‘Inspirational HPE Teacher’.
