WHAT a beau­ti­ful morn­ing it was to be out and about. Satur­day morn­ing saw 52 parkrun­ners hav­ing a great time run­ning or walk­ing around Quart Pot Creek.

Well done Hu­bert Creevy, Mar­garet Smith, Leanne Haynes and Justin Kin­der who set new per­sonal bests. Wel­come first timers Ruth and David Stastny, we hope to see you again soon!

Male plac­ings: Robert Yates came first with a great time of 19:49. Young­ster Jor­dan Water­worth came sec­ond in 19:56. Third over the line was James Fox with a time of 19:57.

Fe­male plac­ings: Ma­rina Water­worth came first in 23:32 while Freya Hill snatched sec­ond place with a time of 26:46. Julie Deb­nam was third to cross the fin­ish line with a time of 27:39.

Stan­thorpe parkrun will cel­e­brate its third birth­day on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 9, so make sure you save the date and come along for the 156th Stan­thorpe parkrun. Don your fancy socks and make your way down to Talc St to cel­e­brate with the Stan­thorpe parkrun­ners.
