Stanthorpe Border Post - - LIFE | SERVICES SCENE -

THE Zonta Club of Stanthorpe members have been involved in a few activities since November. Our December ‘Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women’ campaign saw members present at Friday farmers markets with a stall where we distributed information and sold our recipe books.

Proceeds from the sale of the book go towards the cost of continuing to deliver our service and advocacy projects which include the purchase of birthing kits, items to make breast cushions and our care packs.

Young women’s scholarship

The Zonta Club of Stanthorpe Inc offers an annual scholarship of $1000 to a female student whose address and place of education is in Stanthorpe.

Applications are invited from full time students, beginning their first year of further studies, after proceeding from Year 12.

We had three outstanding applicants this year and the winner is Hannah Marino.
