Bar shapes up in time for show

LIONS kick-started the new year with a fi­nal work­ing bee at the Lion Lau­rie Har­vey Show Bar,.

It was cleaned, fully painted, new fluro lights in­stalled and decked out with a stain­less steel sink, even a lit­tle bit of new con­crete. The bar is now com­plete.

The bar was en­joyed by many who at­tended the Stan­thorpe Show at the week­end and will now ser­vice the cat­tle sales well into the fu­ture.

Earth­works will start in the next month at the Sol­dier Set­tlers Mon­u­ment and Lions Park site at

Cot­ton­vale things move into full swing.

Lions is look­ing for­ward to creat­ing not only an­other great Lions Park but help­ing the his­tor­i­cal so­ci­ety cre­ate a won­der­ful tourist at­trac­tion for the dis­trict.

Keep an eye out for more in­for­ma­tion at the Ap­ple and Grape in­for­ma­tion booth at the Lions burger stand.
