Bar shapes up in time for show
LIONS kick-started the new year with a final working bee at the Lion Laurie Harvey Show Bar,.
It was cleaned, fully painted, new fluro lights installed and decked out with a stainless steel sink, even a little bit of new concrete. The bar is now complete.
The bar was enjoyed by many who attended the Stanthorpe Show at the weekend and will now service the cattle sales well into the future.
Earthworks will start in the next month at the Soldier Settlers Monument and Lions Park site at
Cottonvale things move into full swing.
Lions is looking forward to creating not only another great Lions Park but helping the historical society create a wonderful tourist attraction for the district.
