ON SATURDAY afternoon Robert Channon Wines got all jazzed up for the Caxton Street Jazz Band concert.

Nearly 100 people travelled from as far as Brisbane and the Gold Coast to attend the 11th annual concert in Amiens.

Owner Robert Channon said the afternoon was full of excitement.

“It was a really foot-tapping type of afternoon,” Mr Channon said.

“Everybody who I spoke to said it was a fantastic concert.”

This year he said there were more visitors than locals in attendance.

The Caxton Street Jazz Band said they’d love to come back and play again next year.

The excitement continues this Sunday, with the Corda Spiritus Chamber Players performing at the winery from 2pm.
