Dance, mu­sic and debu­tantes

YOUNG girls and boys are busy per­fect­ing their danc­ing skills for the up­com­ing St Joseph’s Par­ish Debu­tante Ball.

The time is fast ap­proach­ing for guys to suit up and girls to or­gan­ise the per­fect dress for their so­cial de­but.

Fi­nal touches are hap­pen­ing for the Debu­tante Ball, to be held on Oc­to­ber 13 at the Stanthorpe Civic Cen­tre.

The deb ball is the ideal time to dress up, dance and en­joy the mag­i­cal at­mos­phere that has en­ter­tained lo­cals, their fam­ily, friends and vis­i­tors for many years.

This year, 23 young women from St Joseph’s School and Stanthorpe High will make their de­but.

Or­gan­iser Vita Caval­laro said lo­cal band Whisky Gul­ley would have every­one up and danc­ing.

“Ev­ery­thing is run­ning to plan at the mo­ment, I’m hop­ing it will be an­other suc­cess like like other years,” she said.

“We’re ex­pect­ing about

400 peo­ple. It’s a fun night for all, young and old.

“The girls and the boys al­ways look fab­u­lous.”

Tick­ets are avail­able now for $50 per per­son, $35 for stu­dents, which in­cludes a light sup­per.

Gallery seats will also be avail­able on the evening for just $3 per per­son. Please note that 18 to 25-year-olds will need to pro­vide iden­ti­fi­ca­tion at the door.

A bar will be op­er­at­ing and strictly no bring your own.
