Dance, music and debutantes
YOUNG girls and boys are busy perfecting their dancing skills for the upcoming St Joseph’s Parish Debutante Ball.
The time is fast approaching for guys to suit up and girls to organise the perfect dress for their social debut.
Final touches are happening for the Debutante Ball, to be held on October 13 at the Stanthorpe Civic Centre.
The deb ball is the ideal time to dress up, dance and enjoy the magical atmosphere that has entertained locals, their family, friends and visitors for many years.
This year, 23 young women from St Joseph’s School and Stanthorpe High will make their debut.
Organiser Vita Cavallaro said local band Whisky Gulley would have everyone up and dancing.
“Everything is running to plan at the moment, I’m hoping it will be another success like like other years,” she said.
“We’re expecting about
400 people. It’s a fun night for all, young and old.
“The girls and the boys always look fabulous.”
Tickets are available now for $50 per person, $35 for students, which includes a light supper.
