Cel­e­bra­tion for Sud­bury

SUD­BURY Com­mu­nity House will cel­e­brate 30 years of pro­vid­ing in­clu­sive sup­port ser­vices to the peo­ple of Mirrabooka next month.

The or­gan­i­sa­tion pro­vides com­mu­nity ser­vices, vo­ca­tional train­ing, health­care, English lan­guage classes, an in­for­mal drop-in cen­tre and play­groups.

The 30th an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tions will in­clude cul­tural singers and dancers, chil­dren’s ac­tiv­i­ties and lunch.

Sud­bury House ex­ec­u­tive man­ager Vir­ginia Aden said Sud­bury House had been part of the lo­cal com­mu­nity since it opened in 1986.

It pro­vided a wel­com­ing and sup­port­ive space where peo­ple could drop in to find in­for­ma­tion, sup­port, con­nec­tion and re­fer­ral.
