MINORITY HAS TOO MUCH SAY

Stirling Times - - Opinion -

SOCIAL interest groups pushing their respective social agenda are increasingly using bullying, threats, intimidation and also shouting down the views of other people.

They cannot and will not tolerate a diversity of social opinions.

All of us should be able to have freedom of speech on social issues without any fear of repercussion.

Without this safeguard, the minority – namely social activists, political extremists, yes even politicians – will dictate to us the majority: what to think, how to vote, how to live, what to wear, what to read etc. etc!

This is undemocratic and elitist!

For the minority to have the ultimate say over the majority means that we have arrived to a new dark age. John Seotis, Stirling
