WELCOME back for another Lynx update.

It was a tough week at training after our 0-3 start, with everyone in the team looking at how they could improve.

Another game against the Bendigo Spirit gave the team a great chance to redeem our performance from the previous weekend. On Thursday night, the girls’ hard work paid off, coming away with a 106-79 victory.

It was a four-quarter performance, with housemates Alice Kunek (23 points) and Alex Ciabattoni (22 points) leading the way offensively, getting a combined eight of 11 from the threepoint line.

The defence of Natalie Burton and Sami Whitcomb on the dangerous Kelsey Griffin and Betnijiah Laney also proved crucial in the victory.

There was little time to celebrate as we were at the airport on Friday morning, headed to Melbourne to play the Boomers, unfortunately going down in overtime, 79-77.
