ALDI’s Yokine store will open its doors on Wednesday, November 8.

The store, at Dog Swamp Shopping Centre, will be 1198sq m with more than 500 products, including skiing, gardening, cooking and entertaining.

The new store will create new jobs involving between 15 and 20 permanent full-time and part-time employees.

The Yokine store will not sell alcohol.

An Aldi Australia spokeswoman said the store would feature a new format including redesigned and expanded wooden produce bays, and energy efficient LED lighting and chillers.

She said it also had “sleek signage and point of sale displays”.

The spokeswoman said it had taken eight months to prepare the shop for the opening.

“We’ve been working hard to get the store ready,” she said.

A new Aldi store is on schedule to open at Dog Swamp Shopping Centre on November 8.
