THE story of an unlikely animal friendship is being brought to life in Innaloo.

Stirling Players’ youth group is performing a musical version of Charlotte’s Web at Stirling Theatre this month.

Director Fran Gordon chose the well-loved children’s novel by E. B. White as she believed it would provide the audience with a special experience.

“I loved the book and the movie and was delighted to find it as published musical. Families will enjoy this play as it has interest and humour for all ages,” Gordon said.

“I really like working with the young people, helping them learn about the theatre and the effort and commitment that goes into a production, as well as helping them develop their stage skills.”

Performances are on February 16 to 17 and 23 to 24.

Fern played by Ella Hagon (14) and Wilbur played by Sean Smith (12).
