SPARE Parts Puppet Theatre will have the world, or at least the Commonwealth, on a string when it takes multi-sensory interactive experience String Symphony to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games celebrations.

Designed for all ages, the giant handwoven illuminated puppet named Leor (meaning ‘I have light’) was designed by puppet maker Leon Hendroff and audience members are invited to work together to bring him to life.

Leor is made from more than 1km of rope and 600 LED lights and was created to bring strangers together for a unique shared experience.

“String Symphony provides an opportunity for them to have a tangible connection with other people,” Hendroff said.

String Symphony’s Leor will delight people on the Gold Coast.
